Despite decades of lore about ships and planes vanishing without explanation, both Lloyd's of London's insurance data and US Coast Guard records show no higher rate of loss in the Bermuda Triangle than any other heavily trafficked stretch of ocean. Investigator Larry Kusche traced most of the 'mysterious' disappearances to mundane causes once he checked the original records.
