Three countries trapped entirely inside one other country

Only three nations on Earth are fully enclaved within a single neighbour: Vatican City and San Marino, both wholly surrounded by Italy, and Lesotho, wholly surrounded by South Africa. Lesotho, the largest of the three, is also the only country in the world that lies entirely above 1,000 metres in elevation.
