One mountain peak sends its rainwater into three different oceans
Triple Divide Peak in Montana's Glacier National Park sits where the Continental, Laurentian and Northern divides meet. Rain falling on its summit can end up in the Pacific Ocean, the Gulf of Mexico via the Missouri-Mississippi system, or Hudson Bay and the Arctic Ocean, depending on which face it lands. Hydrologists call it the closest thing North America has to a single hydrological apex.
