First powered flight to the Moon: 66 years

The Wright brothers flew for 12 seconds over a beach in 1903. In 1969, humans walked on the Moon. A person born the year of Kitty Hawk could have watched Apollo 11 on television at 66. No other technology curve in history bent that fast.
