Victoria Falls isn't the tallest or widest waterfall, yet it's the biggest

Victoria Falls on the Zambezi River is neither the world's tallest nor widest waterfall on its own, but its combination of a roughly 1,708-metre-wide curtain dropping 108 metres makes it the largest sheet of falling water on the planet. Locally it's called Mosi-oa-Tunya, 'the smoke that thunders,' for mist visible for kilometres.
