These orcas beach themselves on purpose, then wriggle back to open water

At Punta Norte, Argentina, killer whales deliberately strand themselves on the shore to snatch sea lion pups from the beach, then use the next wave to wriggle back into the sea — a hunting technique that risks getting stuck for good. It isn't instinct alone: young orcas are coached by their mothers over years before they can do it safely. Only a handful of orca populations worldwide have ever learned it.
