A wasp stings a cockroach's brain, then walks it to its own grave
The emerald cockroach wasp delivers a first sting to paralyse its victim's front legs, then a second directly into the brain that suppresses the escape reflex without knocking it out. The wasp then leads the fully mobile but compliant cockroach by an antenna into a burrow, lays an egg on it, and seals it in alive as food for its larva.
