Some moths jam bat sonar the same way militaries jam radar

As bats evolved echolocation to hunt in the dark, moths evolved countermeasures: many species have ears tuned to detect a bat's ultrasonic calls and trigger sudden evasive loops or drops, while tiger moths go further, emitting their own ultrasonic clicks that jam a bat's sonar or warn it the moth tastes bad. Some, like the comet moth, grow long trailing tail streamers that scatter and confuse the returning echo — a clear case of predator and prey evolving weapons and countermeasures in lockstep.
