A tilted room can make the same adult look like a giant or a dwarf

Adelbert Ames Jr. built a trapezoidal room that looks like an ordinary rectangular box when viewed through a single peephole. Two people standing in its far corners are actually at very different distances from the viewer, but the slanted walls and false perspective lines hide that, so one appears to shrink while the other balloons as they swap corners.
