A wasp's sting turns a cockroach into an obedient zombie host

The emerald cockroach wasp stings a roach twice: first into its midsection to briefly paralyze the legs, then a second, precisely targeted sting straight into a specific region of its brain. That second sting doesn't kill the roach — it suppresses its escape reflex, leaving it able to walk but with no will to flee. The wasp leads it by an antenna into a burrow, lays an egg on it, and its larva eats the still-living roach from inside.
