Ask every member of a team their share of the work, and the total tops 100%

In a classic study, married couples each estimated what percentage of the housework, childcare and decision-making they personally contributed. Added together, the couples' estimates routinely summed to well over 100%. Each person's own actions are simply more available in memory than their partner's, so everyone sincerely overestimates their own share of a shared effort.
